I got down voted for some reason in the game thread for pointing out that Kaufmann had a good first half after he had the strip sack.
He played great today.

Kaufman reminded me of honey badger….just wildly fast and athletic. Hope he keeps that up and we give him same level of freedom to make plays

RANT[ON]OFF
Reminds me of Zach Cunningham, and our shitshow recruiting him. For fricks sake. Out of Valley High School, AU played around and dicked him over though he wanted to be at AU. Went to Vandy instead and wrecked shite. Drafted 2nd round by the Texans in 2017, 57th overall, now with the Eagles. 392 tackles in his career according to Zach Cunningham Eagles profile
Zach tells Gus to frick off
Sorry off topic but still all kinds of pissed. Smart move: Vanderbilt needs to 'derail' Auburn RB Kamryn Pettway

And while Auburn has the SEC’s leading rusher on its side, the Commodores have the SEC’s leading tackler playing for them. All-SEC linebacker Zach Cunningham has exceeded expectations through the first eight games with a league-best 85 tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss. Against Nick Chubb and Georgia three weeks ago, Cunningham finished with 19 tackles and had the game-winning stop on fourth down. “I love the way he plays,” Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. “I mean, Zach Cunningham is one of the better defensive players in our league. He’s very impressive the way he comes off blocks. He sheds blocks and makes play as good as any linebacker in our league. He can run. He can really run. He’s a rangy guy.” There might be a little extra motivation for Cunningham as he returns to his home state to face an Auburn team that pulled his scholarship because, according to Cunningham’s high school coach, they had only one left at linebacker and were saving it for Reuben Foster.
