Up front they may have problems protecting Evers and running the ball.. they have a lot of good receivers with loads of speed.

Defensively that game in the trenches will not be for the faint of heart they have some big interior linemen but they might not be used to facing people as big and strong as ours. They will also have to account for a running QB that can hurt them I really want to see if we can throw it effectively.

They have a legit defensive line, Bo Davis has those dudes playing.

Defensively, they do look a lot better, especially up front. But overall, not very impressive against a weak Rice team yesterday. It should be a very interesting matchup next week.

The Rice offense could not support a great effort by their defense and they wore down. It was a mismatch at the LOS and that was the difference.

If our OL can play well we will be alright.

OL push and running the ball with authority/not making Milroe win it and not getting beat deep will be what decides. If we don’t get push and they beat us on the deep ball, then it’s gonna be a long one.

That Sweat kid is legit. He reminds me of Q's style of play somewhat.
I was suprised he didnt go pro.

Our guard play needs to be a bit better againt this D'line.

Saban will come up with game plan where we play keep away ball from Sark. Make it hard for his offense to get on the field.

I watched the full game on replay. Their dline is the only thing that stuck out to me. It's legit and we have to block well. I would probably tell Milroe ti just run don't try to find an open guy if it's not there.

Ewers played like played the rest of the year last year. 19 of 30 against Rice ain't great.

I watched the game. We watch out for the DL and we should be good.

Glad we saw the same thing. Milroe I thought was a little hesitant to run last night I get it we want him to throw and work on that but he needs to go Saturday if it's not open or they will get sacks.

Yep, turn the legs loose. Go if you have it. He can home run some scrambles.

I wonder if they have a QB who can run like Milroe to simulate.

Quick look and I don't see any one that can emulate Milroe at all. They may have to use their WR or RB to stimulate the speed of the QB.

Milroes pocket presence needs a bit of work, as he was grabbed from behind a few times against MTSU. If he starts running a split second sooner he’s off to the races.

But, Texas’ DL is built like ours to stop the run not rush the passer.

If the RBs pick up blitzes well then Milroe should have time in the pocket.

You haven't looked very hard then. The guys name is Maalik Murphy. And he might be bigger and just as fast as milroe.

Yep frick Texas and their bush-league 11am kickoff last year. Had to have an impact on our players as we haven’t had an early kickoff in years.

That’s on FOX and we play at 11am almost every year against the cupcake before Auburn.
