I am kind of with you for some of the teams. I can never bring it to myself to cheer for Alabama, LSU, Tennessee, or Georgia to win, no matter who they're playing.
But it's Vandy. A loss here could hurt the conference's reputation a little bit, but it's fairly irrelevant. With conference re-alignment, we need even our bottom dwellers to do well.

They shouldnt be in the conf, the only reason everyone used to say was because of their academics. CFB isnt about that anymore. They are good at baseball only because they have an advantage.

That too, but this game should have been winding up, not just going to halftime. 2 hour delay and lots of penalties.

Dude, they started the conference. Nashville is becoming the base for SEC basketball. Nashville is the biggest city of the SEC schools. Top academics.
Not sure this is true. Anybody could have built up their academic scholarships but chose to pay coaches huge sums of money instead.
