UGA and Bama are both in trouble

Will each have two losses this year imo.
UGA loses to SC and to Tennessee while Bama loses to us and LSU.
Both are breaking in new quarterbacks while UGA is losing Monken as well.
Yet this entire board is downplaying it like it's nothing just because on paper they are still stacked with talent. None of that matters much if you don't have competent QB play though.
Meanwhile Tennessee is in year three of Heupel's elite system and has the most physically gifted QB in the nation who dismantled a playoff level Clemson team like it was nothing to finish our 2022 season off.
Vols are going to run the table this year. The stars have finally aligned.
I predicted 11 wins last year with one loss a split between Bama and UGA btw.

That's it. We can skip the season now. It was a good run. Congratulations, Vols.

Don't talk me loser. I bet you predicted 7 to 8 wins last year right and called anyone who didn't a homer? Keep your weak your loser mindset to yourself.

It's interesting how Tennessee is in the exact same boat yet OP forgot that part.

1: Heupel calls our offense
2: Milton has legitimate experience under center for us
2: Milton has legitimate experience under center for us

Remember when Tennessee was #1 with an elite offense only to get smacked around by Georgia didn’t even get into the end zone until the game was over?

I find this funny.
UGA broke in a new QB in 2021. Won the national championship. Everyone said we won it despite the QB.
Then UGA returned that same overlooked QB in 2022. Won the national championship again. Now everyone is saying we won in because of the QB.
Now they're saying UGA can't win unless they have a great QB.
Umm... reference 2021.
But to be honest, I think Beck is going to set UGA all-time passing records this season. UGA's all-time records aren't all that huge, so that's not some grandiose statement. But UGA is set up to be more pass focused than any team in UGA history, and has a QB with a strong accurate arm who's a good decision maker.
I don't know if that will work out, but UGA's offense is going to be decidedly "un-UGA" based on how most of you think of a UGA offense.

No more Stetson and Monken to save you. UGA is a paper tiger this year.

And Alabama and Georgia have a lot more talent around their guys.
It's basically a wash.

Bahahahaha. No one is worried about Beck.
They may have said that in 2021 as well but Stetson was a one in a million not only as a walk on but as a player in general.
I've watched the tape on Beck. I don't see that magical it factor that great QBs like Stetson have.

Fair enough, but either way, this league is wide open again this season for the first time in a good while.

"who dismantled a playoff level Clemson team"
Hey goofball...South Carolina prison-raped UT and then took down Clemson. We mopped the floor with SC, 48-7 before we broke one off in the Vols. We return more talent from last years team than we had returned from the 2021 NC team.

Fun fact. UGA could have scored 10 points less in every game in the regular season and SECCG and only one team would have won in regulation against them (Mizzou). UK would have gone to OT. We still would have beaten everyone else. Still would have won the SEC East. Still would have won the SECCG.

I don’t want to support OP but Milton has a handful of starts and multiple years in system. Neither Bama nor UGA have that.

Tennessee had a huge lockeroom situation event right before the SC game and the defense completely laid down that game. Offense was out of sync as well..
Jeremy Banks our star linebacker went after Hooker on nil pay for offensive players compared to defensive players and it caused a temporary rift between the units abd even led to Milton knocking banks on his arse in defense of Hooker.
You can call it an excuse, but compare the way our defense played against Mizzou, Vandy & Clemson vs SC which were all at the end of the season.
SC has come together and is a good team though. Taking nothing away from them. But we all saw what a fully dualed in Tennessee did to Clemson despite missing a lot of key starters.
