Beck will start. But will he lose the job at some point during the year?

Let's assume all 3 stay healthy.

Who is the starter at years end?

I'll take the easy path and predict Beck plays well and starts all year.

It may not be this year but Gunner Stockton is the future.

This. Absolute worst comes to worst we take the pressure off and grind the ball on the ground with occasional passes. But I think he is ready and does well.

Looks like Stet 2.0 to me

But Beck will have to play poorly for us to see itvthis year.

I'd say no but JD has me thinking georgia pipeline and root vegetables, and the two other QB's are GA born and bred. Fromm beat out Eason due to injury. Stet beat out JT due to injury. Is it a pattern in the universe, or a coincidence?

Not without injury.

I tend to believe so.

I hope Beck turns out to be the greatest QB in Georgia history. But think about the futility in that statement for a second…

Beck couldn’t beat out walk-on Stetson Bennett for the job either of the last two years, so the chances of some switch clicking and him becoming an upgrade look long and grim.

Beck was basically handed the reigns after JT was injured, and the staff basically hated Stets guts as much as ITDawg etc, but Beck couldn’t even handle what was being handed to him on a silver platter. On top of that , he pouted oceans of tears and handled the situation in a disappointing unfamiliar and impossible manner to that in which a hard scrabble never say die confident winner would

So basically QB is most likely a potential liability this year barring a miracle and/or Griff or Stockton thief session to continue the Kirby QB trend.

My personal gut guess is rise of Vandagriff. He will exploit the early season skepticism of Beck stumbling and will gain hero status . And will be rallied around on a march into December

I officially predict that Beck starts and ends the season as the no. 1 guy. Im not gonna predict a Heisman winner but could wind up in New York by default like Bennett. I like what I’ve seen so far and that seemingly matches every scrimmage and practice report I have seen thus far.

The negadawg in me fears he could look just good enough against our schedule but end up holding us back on the way to a L in Atlanta or Beyond.

He’s prone to dropping the ball when scrambling so there’s that

According to them, the one time was a fluke and he'd never do it again...

This is true.

Beck has 12 career rush attempts with 3 fumbles.

He pissed Goede off because one turnover cost Ryland a playcall designed to get him a touch in the end zone (Ryland's regret is never logging a catch for UGA).

With all due respect to Goede, yea Beck shouldn’t have fumbled, but you never logging a single catch is on you. Blame your coach(es) that won’t throw the ball when up a lot. Blame the defense for not letting the other team stay close enough for us to keep throwing. Hell, blame yourself for not being good enough to play more.

Yeah. Goede sucks and should have transferred sooner. /s

If you can't beat out Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington, you are dead to me. /s

If you cared, the team is a family and wants success for one another.

Pay closer attention when a player gets their first reception and first TD.
It is a big deal to the entire team. As it should be.

There are a lot of kids who work hard and give the team help by giving good looks on the scout team and/or contribute in other ways and coaches and players want to help them get a touch in a game. Especially when the game is well at hand.

3. RB's are too good
4. Brock Bowers.....Well, he's the best player in football.
