Admittedly, I'm nervous...
Our rush D is nothing short of horrendous at this point, and Jonathan Dwyer is Charles Scott's older brother.
I'm opening up here... Someone tell me how we have a legitimate chance to win this game.

I think it will be a close game. I'm interested to see how well the UGA O-line performs because the GaTech D-line looked very good vs. Miami. UGA's defense must play disciplined else they will be chasing tailbacks for most of the game.
edit: If Stafford has time to throw, and the defense limits the 20+ yard runs by Tech (something Miami could not do) Georgia will come away with a W

This, from my experience watching the past few years seems to be the sort of game UGA will whip their opponent on. They will reclaim their good start to next year by ending the regular season with a solid win. however, if they don't win, i would HATE to be on the receiving end of whoever plays Georgia in a bowl game.
uga will win by more than 10 points fo'sho

UGA has had 2 weeks to prep, so that might help, but who knows.
Ga Tech weakness will be their LB's against Moreno after he gets past their stout D-line. Tech's LB's are all way less experienced than they would have hoped to field, and there is not a big name/impact player among them.
Tech's corners also blow, but their Safeties are very good. It will depend on how well Burnett can cover Green or Massaquoi after they burn the corners.
I think Tech will win so long as they dont turn the ball over more than once. In every game they fumble it twice.

Man, I was really hoping for 8 straight...
Why did they have to hire Paul Johnson? I used to respect the man when he was at Ga Southern and Navy. Now i have to hate him out of habit

the dawgs may have some weaknesses and have done some stupid stuff this season... but the uga program is a far cry from what miami is...there is no comparison...its the last game..in athens...and its tech....i think its close but uga wins...play action pass....thats all i got to say...momass'last regular season game...and like was mentioned above...techs secondary is suspect..

I think UGa having an off week last week is huge. Two weeks to prepare for GT's unconventional offense that is rarely seen in today's big boy football conferences is a huge advantage IMO.

I think the chances of Tech beating us are about the same as the chances of Arkansas beating LSU, which is to say it is a toss up.

The problem with facing that offense is that there really is no way to simulate the full offense during practice. Your practice squad players don't play it and unless there is a huge disparity in talent it can be rough going for any defense. Paul Johnson's offense equals the Energizer Bunny, they keep going and going. Tech will be a serious player in the ACC for years to come.
