Took his visit to LSU this weekend and he really loved it … seems like LSU pulled ahead of OU for him this weekend . He wants to run track and even though his sister is enrolling at OU he may still choose LSU . We had two backs already committed and we took 2 last year as well. He’s a good one so he was going to be a take regardless.

Didn't OU just get a commit from one of the top RB's?

LSU does not currently have an RB in this class, and we could realistically lose 4 or 5 off our roster after this season.

I think the track program at LSU will sway him there. Its better than OU. I’d love to have him at OU and its not over yet, but he is likely headed to LSU right now. That could change and these kids have a lot of pressure trying to decide with parents and social media influance these days not counting schools and NIL pressures. He’s a good back so whoever gets him will be better for it.

Would have been a hell of a pull for him and Tatum.

Don’t count us out yet. Everyone is probably selling him on being an Achane type back.

There is no A&M person anywhere that think Durham is considering us for anything other than a convenient signing day third hat.

That is not the end of the world, given our pretty young very talented backfield but we will have to add someone eventually.

He’s moving his commitment up and it’s a done deal he’s going to LSU … and yes we are stacked at running back . Our starter this year Gavin Sawchuck is going to turn some heads but we also have a number of great backs behind them. Really didn’t see a need for 3 backs this cycle but u just can’t turn down talent sometimes . OU usually plays 3-4 backs a year . I think OU is going to be fine but I bet not getting this guy somewhere down the line will bite us in the arse lol.

We still made his top 3 and he’s visited a few times. We probably don’t lead, but we are being considered. Fisher wants to take one RB this class. Nate Frazier is the last big uncommitted prized back of the class, but it looks like he’s a Georgia lean. Both damn good backs. Both commit soon.

Frankly I'm hoping we can get Durham and another RB.

Sawchuck will be a stud but do not sleep on Javonte Barnes he is just about as good. And Major is there too. With the 2 additions in 24 class its going to be loaded even without Caden. I’d still love to take Caden he has major talent bit appears he’s LSU bound.

LSU is only recruiting him at RB position for this class. They just went all in on him or nothing. We are after Berry and Simon in 2025 Class in state.

Not really when you can grab someone out of the portal if you need to. We sit in a great spot with those two stud RB’s from Louisiana in 2025 as well.

That's true. I think Cain, Emery, and Williams are just out of eligibility after this season. Goodwin, Bradford, and Diggs are all draft eligible after this season. Then we just have the 2 freshmen.

I know there's only 1 rock, but RB was hairy for us last year. I just don't want to see us with only 4 RB's again.

I love Marcus Major I think he’s a stud but for whatever reason he just doesn’t get the reps Barnes and Gavin are going to get this season . I like Gavin because he fiends me of Rodney Anderson super quick 4.39 and has a lot of strength … another name that I have heard is doing well is Tawee Walker he was the number one Juco back a few years back and he’s brings the thunder like Perine did.

We think so too, but we’re cautiously optimistic
