No one's leaving the SEC or Big Ten for the Big 12. But people may leave the ACC for them

I'm sorry but why in the world would Nebraska ever leave the Big 10?

Baylor would sue, cry, and possibly go Wacko all over again.

Ask their fans, they'll gladly tell you. I've spoken to some in person about how they feel being in their current situation.

Why? Just another reason why I prefer NFL now. College model is a mess. Just call it what it is and put a salary cap in place. Jockeying between conferences will continue to alienate some fans.

I did miss the old Big 8. Couldn't give a shite about the 12, past or present.

Nebraska would be no better off in any different conference. Demographics finally caught up with them.

Wvu doesn’t need to be in the big 12.

So "hypothetically" the SEC, currently at 14 teams, would lose 3? And the fix for that is..... ????

Even with tx and ou finally making it over here, the teams are still off balanced. Are you suggesting balance isn't needed?

A few morons who are so dumb they think the Big 10 is why they suck don't mean shite.

With these 3 (eventually/inevitably) joining a “P5” conference, what effect would we expect to see from SEC schools that croot from these metro areas?

Can’t wait to get out of this shite conference.

And it’s been said, but no university president that values their job or reputation is leaving the big 10 or SEC for the big 12. I read your comment about a few fans lamentations over not being relevant any more. Fans don’t make these calls.

But Bret McMurphy is reporting that Colorado to the big 12 is done and will be announced tomorrow. If true then lots of dominoes may start to fall (?). Oregon and Washington to the big 10? Utah and Arizona to the big 12 ? What happens to Arizona state and Stanford? Does Cal just shut down its athletic program? Washington state and Oregon state to the mountain west? What about current bowl tie ins with the pac?

Interesting to think about for a week or so until 2-a-days start.

Agreed. On the path college football is heading, it’s just filler until Sundays.

I think Arizona and Arizona St follow each other. I also think the Pac 12 dissolves where it was once thought the Big 12 would. It's crazy to see how quickly things change now days
