Hulu Live bundle with ESPN+ and Disney+ is what I’ve had through the last two seasons. Hulu Live gets you all the ESPN/SEC Network channels and CBS. ESPN+ gives you access to SECNetwork+ too. That gives access to every UGA game.

I'm thinking about Youtube TV. My mom has it and it's great. I got into a contract with Xfinity and I have it bundled with a security system(big mistake). I could setup my own security with something like Ring. That's how Xfinity ropes you in. I pay around 300 a mo which is really obscene.

YYTV has the multiscreen feature going this year where you can watch multiple games at once.

$80 something for all of it. We also pay separately for Netflix and HBO Max.

Only drawback to me is no Bally Sports so no Braves unless they’re on another channel.

I’m paying $225/mo for TV + HBO and Showtime and 1.2G internet. I hate it, but honestly, with the same internet speed and all the subscriptions I would need, it gets pretty close in price anyways

That's pretty close to where we are. XFinity deal is up in November, but if there's a compelling reason to ditch them early, I'm all for it.

Their internet is hard to beat, though.

We just got a new Samsung smart TV that has the Samsung TV Plus channels, which is like Tubi or Pluto. That alone probably would scratch my wife's channel-surfing itch.

I need to check to see if there's a YTTV app for Samsung.

Honestly, what saved me from moving away from Comcast, was giving back all their damn boxes at $10-20/mo per device and using the Xfinity Stream which is free and the same thing basically.

I think in a matter of a year or two, cable will be back to the norm...cause they control the internet. They will raise their internet prices as cable subscriptions go down, then advertising will go down in pricing, allowing cable to remain cheaper...meanwhile, all the streaming services will go up in price with demand, there will be more of them and you will end up paying way more for cutting the cord

I've enjoyed FUBO the last couple of years. Cancel it after the title game. The price seems to be rising so I will look around to see what else is available. Last year, I think it was $65 a month and I cancelled after the TCU game.

I should say that I have:

AT&T Internet $60 (1000 Internet speed)
HBO Max free with internet
Netflix $13
Amazon $10 a month paid in full for year

I like YTTV played on a dumb TV by a computer browser. A friend has Hulu on his smart tv. I prefer my setup.

I'm really surprised that there aren't more dumb tv options out there. I love that the Xfinity DVR and cable boxes have the ability to integrate Netflix, Max, etc, but there's very little functionality in this smart tv that I see us using. We replaced a 2008 Samsung plasma that was rock solid and I brought it back from the dead twice by replacing the HDMI control board. The only reason we replaced it (gave it to brother-in-law) is because I got a stupid deal on this new one. I'm still not sure Mrs. Vox is down with the move, but she's getting there.

Maybe the first year, but we were paying $230 a month for cable and internet before, and thta was without the extras.

Also, you typically sign a one or two year contract with cable, and i can do FUBO for the 5 months of football season and cancel, so it takes $65 off the table.

How much do you pay for cable, what do you get?

Cable for less than $65?

ETA
I should clarify that we had Dish Network and not cable. But cable was going up every time we turned around, too, when we had it.

Just to be clear...you get cable for $35 a month?

I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking but I’ve never had an issue with DVR and I think it’s unlimited space but don’t quote me on that.
