I love seeing all the UGA... but Mims and Lovett are a little bit of a stretch.

Lovett was great at Mizzou, but I feel a little odd putting him ahead of McConkey given what he's done while at UGA.

Mims will be very good, but he was a reserve last year. Putting him on a pre-season list seems like it disrespects guys who started last year.

Lovett isn't a stretch at all.
He was 1st team All SEC in 2022.

Reports have him tearing up the UGA secondary (both in receptions and YAC).

He could have more yards than Bowers this upcoming year (i.e. a lot of the running back receptions may come his way).

Mims wasn't reserve last season.
He platooned. He would come in with the first team on the 3rd series. No different than how we used Broderick Jones, Jamaree Salyer, and other 5 star linemen who waited their turn.

I can understand another right tackle getting the spot ahead of him. But that right tackle should have been perfect in November/December/January because Mims was. I think he had 1 official pressure.

Hot take alert-

Lovett will break Terrence Edwards single season record of 1004 receiving yards. Dude has been unguardable in 7v7 and informal summer workouts.

Mims is the highest rated and prettiest looking offensive linemen in UGA history, and he's going into his third season now with a few hundred snaps under his belt.
