even though this is likely fake, the faux outrage here is great
1. writer fabricates much of a story, trying to paint UGA in a negative light
2. said writer gets called out for the fabrication, and also has his past of similar allegations made public
3. writer either is or might soon be unemployed due to shady practices
4. Trolls claim UGA is dirty, and bought his bosses out
this is top grade mental gymnastics folks

It does take a lot of courage to print a story that isn't properly sourced and pretending that it is.
Because usually if it's about anything that anyone cares about, it's a career ender for a journalist to do that.
This guy does have that level of courage... or stupidity if you want a better way to describe it.
