Hypothetically, who here would root for Georgia in this year's national title game?

••• The U of the 1980s
••• Saban's march through the South
••• Knute Rockne's Notre Dame squads
••• Bud Wilkerson's OU
••• Nebraska's Prop 48 super thug steroid squads
••• Army whenever the frick that was
If Georgia wins the CFP title this year, we will be standing ONLY with the Minnesota Golden Gophers of 1934-36 as THE only back-to-back-to-back college football national champions in history, and the first of the AP Poll era.
Prepare thy online anuses accordingly

No problem at all rooting for UGA, Bama, LSU, Gators, etc…
Our ineptitude on the field has nothing to do with other schools or other fans. Good for UGA if you make it back.

If you don't win it with that cake walk of a schedule you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Have you started a thread every day for the whole 2 weeks that you’ve been here..?

That's cute and everything, but by definition the CFP winner has to beat a top 4 team in consecutive weeks. In 2021 Georgia beat #2 and #1 in back to back weeks. Last season we beat #4 and #3 in back to back weeks..
Any national champion of the CFP era should never have to apologize for a national championship. LSU fans should know this.
It's not like 1998, when Tennessee in the post season only had to beat Mississippi State and the frigging Red Rooster led Florida State squad to win the national title

This
Has to be one of the weakest schedules I've seen in recent memory, let alone for a returning champion
I get that part of the issue is OU being removed, but whatever the reasoning, it's still a woefully weak SOS and anything short of reaching the playoffs is an abject failure

You realize whoever we play in the playoffs isn't on our current 12 game schedule, right?

If we don't make it to the SECCG, I'd agree. The schedule can't take us any further than that. If we win it all, we're likely gonna have to win three straight games against top ten opponents.
Never understood people complaining about weak schedules if they can't beat those teams that played them. If your team goes to where they are based on a weak schedule, it should be easy to expose.
For instance, Cincinnati and Notre Dame in the past were exposed.
Clemson, though they did play a weak schedule, not so much.

If Georgia wasn't the reigning back-to-back national champion, which they are, I might post 10 percent as much. But Georgia is the reigning back-to-back champion, and Tennessee has won 1 national championship in the last 70 years.

It would depend on which team Georgia was playing against

I do. I also know that UGA is not going to be as beat up as the Alabama's and LSU's of the conference at the end of the regular season with the cream puffs you are going to play. Tennessee is the only team on your schedule with a pulse. You're driving a Ferrari and playing a bunch of Volkswagens.

D1 of course, but that's obviously what you meant

Alabama can't play itself, so please tell me about all of these swinging dick juggernaut SEC West teams that Alabama will play this season. LSU?

Alabama plays 5 teams in the preseason Top 25. UGA plays Tennessee.

And Alabama might be double digit favorites in every one of those games.
The myth of the SEC West being such a powerful force is based on Alabama kicking arse every season and Auburn finding a nut about once every 5 years and being really good and LSU finding a nut about once every five years and being really good. What else ya got?
