When Josh Pate said the same things last year that rant said last year.

Sometimes it just takes a softer voice for soft folks to understand things.

It was dumb of the SEC to take a team from a state it was already in. A&M was right to be angry over this.

It's called The University of Texas for a reason.

They are wonderful.

Ole Miss lol.

I was showed these by a CFO who was on the phone with the fed every day. Needless to say he was more interested in talking the OU-UT acquisition.

Funnier enough, this was 2021.

Oh he definitely was Aggie boy. His financial institution was cashing all the checks for a larger business and was moving his entire asset amount of the bank each week.

Place was wild.

Aggie, find solace in that the only thing he was enjoying at the time were those cartoons imo.

Enjoy the jimbo-bobby shite show, we all definitely will.

The SEC fans still dont get it. Texas will come in and run shite whether you like it or not. It's about money, and they have more than you. They will run/ruin the SEC before you realize it. Over here we've seen it time and time again. It's an old tale.

Tech fans are going to hate how much we love being in the SEC. Here's the difference for you little buddy, they don’t need to be subsidized by other programs. This is about us going from being a big fish in a medium sized pond to a big fish in a big pond full of other big fish. Yall wouldnt understand, because youre barely a medium sized fish.

This is something I can't understand

I fully expect LSU to beat the shite out of Texas and OU

I'm much more worried about the Mississippi schools as they've shown some flashes of brilliance

A&M wasnt even notified. They werent even considered when the SEC made the decision. They were so furious they leaked it to the media the same day they found out.

This is incorrect. Not everyone knew, but the top level knew about it for a long time before it was leaked.

When A&M joined the SEC I traveled with Auburn in 2013 to College Station for first visit. The visitors locker room was 20x10', no air conditioning and built in the 60's. The stadium had broken wooden wheelbarrows, old lumber, etc under the stadium seats on the east side. The rest of the facilities and campus were just as dated.
Now that same stadium is outstanding and a top 5 stadium in the country. Their facilities are on par with every other Super Power in the conference and the improvements to the campus are outstanding. They are welcoming and flip steaks on the grill like rest of us flip burgers. The new members including the state school of Texas may be surprised as to just how far behind they are in totality.
Time for Texas and Texas A&M to shut up put big boy britches on, take off those 20 gallon hats and play your instate rival annually like a man! Until then it's all smack talk.
Florida/Florida State, Tenn/Vandy, Ga/Tech, Egg bowl, Iron Bowl.
To hell with a neutral site. Home and home.... man up!

He keeps talking about some huge advantage that Texas has in the Big 12 that A&M apparently just couldn't overcome.

The Advantage was the money difference that Texass and Choklahoma had in the big 12 over the other teams was real!

A&M had the exact same advantage. Every time A&M and Nebraska had a chance to vote for an equal distribution model they voted for unequal revenue sharing. You know why? Because they would be handing programs money and would be getting nothing in return. A&M didn’t get their panties in a wad until they found out about our 3rd tier talks with ESPN. They couldn’t stomach how much our 3rd tier rights were worth compared to theirs. Small dick syndrome and then they straight up lied as an institution about how they simply wanted to be in a conference where the money was split equally.
