Big 12’s Brett Yormark asked about OU & Texas ‘carrying the conference’ in recruiting: “I don’t think they’ve carried the conference in recruiting. They haven’t been in our championship game the past few years”

It would be funny if we set them both packing without even making the Big 12 title game. I hope it is so.

Yormack giving the old change of subject burn with the skill of a bitter mid-life wife who just got served papers.

I don't much care about Texas or OU, but for the entertainment value I hope one of them wrecks shite in the Big 12 this season.

Once Texas and OU officially leave the Big 12 will likely break up the remaining PAC 12 and take Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona St

Washington and Oregon will likely head to Big 10

Big 12 will be in a better position than ACC especially if SEC has any interest in Fla St or other ACC schools

A quick look at the recruiting sites solves that debate. But the shorthorns have put some really bad teams on the field in comparison and Oklahoma may very well have a Brent Venables problem. Not a great look coming to the best football conference in the land.

Big 12 titles across all sports:

1.) Texas - 224
2.) Oklahoma - 96
3.) Oklahoma State - 94

They should honestly be happy we're leaving. Giving somebody else a chance

Venables: 97 of the 123 players on the roster are first or second-year players.

So they have a scrum at media days and this is Iowa State and OU. This can’t possibly be true. We keep hearing how no one in this conference needs Texas or OU. In fact, Iowa State’s AD has been at the forefront of the dagger throwing on this issue.
