My wife, my kids, and I we all use apple devices. My whole family is complaining about their devices being dead.

I probably have 15 cable cords, 10 or so of the butts and 1 pathetic wireless charger.

Maybe one works out of them. It’s insanity to buy the 16th charger right?

What the frick is going on here. My car charger is what’s doing the heavy lifting.

Give me a brand, but no Amazon Chinese shite.

It’s weak, but my wife dominates it. It basically keeps the phone on but doesn’t charge up fast, sometimes not at all. It’s meant for charging while on the bedside but the phone isn’t even charged up the next morning.

And it’s a stupid concept for someone like me or my kids that type away with 5% while charging,

An actual apple charging block. It’s become almost impossible to find electronic devices not made in China. The Anker chargers have all worked well for me, but China. These phones/tablets aren’t cheap, I think it’s worth just buying the apple chargers. My usb-c charges my phone in like 15 minutes.

My wife is a animal when it comes to charger cables. She breaks one a week. I have my own and she is not allowed to use it

So you think the block is the issue.

We also have USB outlets and our cables end up being no good.

Ankler mostly starts out fine but they seem to roll over in 6 months. It’s really becoming a stupid hassle.

I bought more. They got me by the balls as they will still be fricked in three months.

The brand to the two pack: “mailesi”

I’ve had the same blocks for years, they all seem the same to me. I use the Amazon brand/essentials cord. They’re a little sturdier but more expensive. I’ve had them a few years now

One sits in my night stand and the other on my work desk. They don’t move and I suspect that’s probably why they hold up longer

I actually went Android for a period to avoid sharing power cords with my family. I'm back on Apple for now, but I have a wireless charger in my office and beside the bed. No one uses them but me because they don't like to remove their cases.

I feel everyone's pain.

Why do you have all those charging cables that don’t work?
Hoarding is a mental issue you should get checked out.

Anything Amazon essentials sounds like trouble to me. I might trust a smiling sly fox more than amazon essentials

I use this 3-in-1 Anker Wireless Charger and it charges fast. 7.5W. $27 or so and I love it. They probably make a phone only one for cheaper. LINK

Cords just don’t last.

Pete, I have a lot of shite in my miscellaneous drawers. I probably have 50 total cords. Everything from cords to old shavers, cords to cameras (back when women wanted cameras), old cords for prior phones to old cords to God knows what. Do not judge me bro.

I do not know how to shitpost if the phone is on the wireless charger, that is main issue with that thing. But I will buy one anyway since my other wireless is junk. Thanks for the tip.

Technical question, is this one of those chargers that will continue charging even after the phone hits 100% or does it know when to shut off.

I’m a cord hoarder as well. I keep them in a box in the garage. It’s come in handy multiple time.

Found your problem
I started with blackbrerry bro. Well actually had LG flip phones when I was 15. But my first smart phones were blackberry. I had Blackberry Pearl, Curve, and then lastly Bold. I loved them things. I had an android one year in between all of my iphones as well. Did not love it.

I will say this:

Android and other phones have better tech than apple and apple is often trying to catch up.

However, I like apple for the same reason why old people love apple. They are simple to navigate.

YOU could try selling me your phone if you would like. I do get wild hairs every now and then.
