Can we all just agree on “UTx”?

It seems like half the posts on here eventually devolve into pissing matches between 2 camps: The “UT will ALWAYS be Tennessee!” group, and the “UT is Texas, get it right, poors!” douchebags.

It’s boring and repetitive. I come here to read people talking shite about their rivals, and watch drunks melt after a loss. Not to watch grown men argue about letters.

I’d like to put this shite to bed so we can all move on to discussing more important matters, such as debating whether Georgia players are capable of understanding what the words “Speed Limit” means, or arguing about how queer Nick Saban is for eating Oatmeal Cream Pies everyday (so fricking gay!).

I’d like to propose that we all refer to Texas as “UTx” since they’re the new kids, and Tennessee can keep “UT” since they’re OGs in the SEC. All this “UTA” and “UTK” talk I see thrown around here is nonsense and neither option are good candidates. If you write “UTx”, we’re all gonna know who you’re talking about without having to know what city each school is in (some of these baws around here ain’t too smart and get confused easily. Let’s help them out).
