Texas literally won the conference this year and has won it 3 of the last 5 times.
They've also won the national championship (which has literally nothing to do with conference affiliation) more than any other school sans 2 of them. Tennessee cannot say the same.
This was more of a shot at the OP who has a major hardon for Texas and nothing to do with Tennessee really.
Congrats on a great season (I do really mean that; getting to Omaha is no small feat)

This is the premiere conference, that is why Texas and Oklahoma came begging and crawling to leave a conference they propped up.
Have a little bit of respect for what these teams have built and you all want to be a part of, since Texas failed on its own

The guy you're replying to is hopelessly obsessed with Texas while dickriding the entire conference + Oklahoma (hence why he has to go out of his way to get on his knees for a Tennessee CWS appearance, but at the same time discrediting Texas). It's... quite the spectacle to say the least

#1 You do not have the academic chops of the old PCC or Ivy tho you would fit in the middle of the B1G, but like BuckNuts you are are not the ELITE school
#2 You are not the ELITE school of the old SWC + Big 8 (that would be OU followed buy UNL) and without DRK you would be Arkansas
#3 You are like Michigan in that your records are skewed from decades of your early history of demanding at least 2:1 or greater (sometimes never ever playing the return trip) instead of a normal HOME and HOME
#4 You have never played fair in the SWC and B12 (and I am old enough to remember the old SWC well) which is why you have crapped up and killed the conference you are a member of.
If you feel this is incorrect please feel free to show why as it seems odd that you have more money, bigger population, more in state talent, and all kinds of advantages but Oklahoma historically was run circles around you with more success over a much broader range with more coaches at taking the Natty back to Norman.
