My bad, I completely misread what you were posting.

I'm taking TCU and LSU in the finals.

Here’s a comparison of how each team ranks in a variety of statistical measures that provide a glimpse into their styles of play, strengths and weaknesses.

Kansas and Mizzou suck, it's ok embrace it.

If LSU wins the first game they are in the finals. Florida will win the other side of the bracket and meet LSU in the finals. LSU wins at all. And of course LSU wins the shot challenge

What do you mean by close? There aren't enough college baseball programs in the immediate vicinity of Omaha to expect a lot of appearances from schools that are "close"
Nebraska
Kansas
Kansas St
Creighton
Wichita St
Missouri
That's about it. Wichita St used to make it to Omaha all the time. Nebraska did twice with Van Horn. It's hard to recruit kids to play in cold weather states to play baseball now.
If you extend "close" to meaning 6-7 hour drives, a lot of schools close do make it and frequently, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma St, for example. Oral Roberts this year, too.

Blame the harsh winters up there

Wake vs LSU will be a heck of a game. Sorry Tennessee and Stanford. Zero chance either of you win first game. Talent gap too big!

I am taking Florida over Tennessee in the finals.
I simply think Florida is the best team on their side of the bracket. I think Virginia has a chance but I like Florida’s talent better, especially if Waldrep continues on like his last two starts. I don’t know that TCU and ORU have the pitching depth to last very long.
You can make a case for any of the four teams on the other side of the bracket. I just like UT’s pitching depth the best. I think they can lose to Skenes on Saturday and still have a legit chance to come all the way back through the loser’s bracket.
I still worry about LSU’s pitching after Skenes. It’s been better lately, but these three teams are a step up for sure. I love Wake’s roster but I have major questions about their experience. I like Stanford the least of those four but you can’t count out a team making its third straight Omaha trip.

Texas lost their one game with LSU, on a late HR. Texas took 2 of 3 from TCU at their place. Should be interesting if they meet.

Last night we witnessed Lsu's biggest fear. I think is safe to say Tigah fans would prefer facing anyone but Tennessee.

Ah yes the LSU struggles against lefties narrative from like 10 years ago.
