Previously worked under Jay Johnson at Arizona in the same capacity.

LSU's current pitching coach, Wes Johnson, will become the head coach at Georgia at the conclusion of LSU's season.

I mean he's worked previously with CJJ, one bad year here or there doesn't make or break a coach like most fans think.

I think he means pitching wasn’t our strong suit this year. We struggled this year. But we were very consistent last year.

It wasn’t just a bad year pitching wise, it was horrendous. Garbage teams were putting up big time runs on us

FWIW, CJJ has said this past week that "the coaching community knows where my focus will be the next few weeks & will be patient." "It's the best position in college baseball, I'm not worried in the least".

Two bad years. Enjoy. I’m guessing he would have been gone if things didn’t improve next year anyway

We really weren’t. Things turned around in the postseason but we were extremely mediocre during the regular season last year. Our offense carried us. With only a couple exceptions most guys have regressed under Yeskie

I don't know, if there's any program where a coach can get away with mediocre to bad results, it's A&M.

He stretched pitchers in regionals and the CWS. MSU's pitching coach didn't really have to worry about that. great job coach, and good luck at GA

Maybe you should go look at what Yeskie did at A&M before you throw stones in a glass house.

You could throw stones at the aTm glass trophy case, an not hit a trophy!
