This is basically like saying that no one from the SEC has much of a shot. Jayden Daniels has to be the front runner by the numbers and brand power.
It'd be great if Quinshon Judkins could be a serious contender, but he won't win it because he's from Ole Miss and the Heisman race is really about brand power, with the occasional QB exception.
Brock Bowers isn't going to win it, or even be a major factor. A TE has never won the Heisman trophy.
Milton's looked good in limited action, so I think he's a dark horse.
We know virtually nothing about Carson Beck. I don't know why KJ Jefferson or Will Rogers wouldn't be on this list before Beck. Unless we're just randomly listing next QB up like people did with Spencer Rattler and DJ Uiagalelei.

You know virtually nothing about Carson Beck.

You might be right about Bowers, but I'm telling ya, I'm convinced that Bower's body is buried out in the woods somewhere around Athens and a bunch of scientists in the basement of the University have replaced him with some kind of freakun cyborg. He's a different type of athlete. He is like Hershel Walker, he can run through 300 lb Dlinemen, drive block them into the ground and easily outrun DBs even when they have an angle on him. To say he's the best player on the UGA team is not an exaggeration. Is that good enough to win him the Heisman...I dunno.

Because their teams are unlikely to be in the national conversation late in the year, and that matters a lot for Heisman winners historically.

Milton showed real improvement last year when he came in as a backup. Overthrows were always his issue because if you watch him throw even the lightest touch comes out like it's shot from a cannon. He performed well all season long and honestly it was enough compared to him the prior year to think he'd improved (because he had). The Vandy game was just a nasty game with a managed start - weather wasn't great and they just wanted to get through it. Clemson game he performed way beyond expectations.
If that's Joe Milton now and he doesn't regress then he really is a decent candidate because we will have the WRs this season to put up big numbers.
