Wish him luck. Prime example of how pure physical tools mean so little to playing that position. Great to have but not necessary.

Meh, I don't think Auburn is the reason he didn't perform well. Even if he stayed at LSU he likely would have not become the starter again.

Above all, playing the QB position requires one to be able to process a ton of information very quickly, and then use the physical ability to execute what you've processed. In no college league do you have to process faster than the SEC given the speed of the competition. It's NOT easy. Which is why the ones who can do it, Brady, Rogers, Burrow, etc get paid a ton of money.

He would probably benefit from going to a lower level school (group of 5 or FCS) where the game will likely slow down significantly. If so, he has the physical tools to play well.

Awesome for him getting the degree. I hope he goes somewhere that he gets a chance. Maybe a MAC school so we can watch him play in their midweek games.

Yeah kinda like how Wingo left his home state of Missouri to play here after 1 season.

Southeastern would be cool. Ten minutes from his home in Ponchatoula.

That's a great analogy, especially considering the two situations are completely different.

Finley was not good and was not going to play. He should have dropped DOWN a level of play and gone G5 or FCS.

Wingo was a freshman All-American and wanted step UP in play.
