The only other school in Texas I can think of who recently got an $100M gift too was Baylor.

What? Bishop couldn't have written that check for $100,000,001?

They probably spent nearly that much on that monstrosity of a house they built at Highland and Bluebonnet.

I think this was surpassed last year.

LSU receives history-making donation of $245 million

The total in earmarks Richard Shelby appropriated to the University of Alabama from federal funds would dwarf anything on that list.

Haven't looked but wouldn't the Vanderbilt Foundation or whoever it was that started Vanderbilt be the largest to Vanderbilt if you look at it in today's dollars?

Based on past value of the money, the LSU gift would be the second largest in terms of impact at the time it was given.

$125,000,000 in 1981 would have been worth $247,387,238.72 in 2002 (year picked to easier compare with the Arkansas and Texas donations).
Value calculator

Just an interesting (to me at least) bit of info. Ultimately, they’re all enormous sums.
