I’ll never understand how pro days and the combine get people so hyped over QB regardless of their on the field performances. Someone will take him in the top 10, he will look ok in the preseason and the talking heads will say he has soooo much potential because of one play. Then he will start by week 5 after a slow start to the year for the team, have one good game, everyone will be on the hype train and then he will fail miserably the rest of the way. Then he will be benched in year two and said team will be looking for another QB.

It’s hilariously predictable because it happens almost every year now

A GM is definitely getting fired over him. Kid is a ridiculous athlete, but has bust written all over him

I could understand taking him in 2nd or 3rd and betting on potential and development but anyone who drafts him in first should be fired. He looked like absolute garbage against UGA.

Seems intentional. Shouldn’t he know how high the ceiling is in there?

My favorite pass is the one he threw to Nakobe Dean.

This is exactly why bad organizations stay bad

They eat up combine numbers and refuse to watch actual film

It’s hilarious

Yep. His game vs Utah in that win showed 1st round talent but he definitely regressed badly since then.

Definitely needs time and a good system in place before any real playing time

Nothing new, overthrew several passes that would have hit the roof if the Swamp had one. But he can run, but won't.
