I'd just like to state the obvious. We kid each other, we bash each other, we enjoy the sweet schadenfreude of each other's misfortune. This is true. It is always the small differences between our respective schools and regions that rankle the most, the close losses, the constant friction etc.

We should always remember the underlying respect and enjoyment we have for each other. And when we have particularly shitty posters we should endeavor to appreciate even them and remember that the rivalries and "bad blood" actually enhance our enjoyment of all these games we follow. And of course, they make us appreciate the legendary posters who add so much to our shared experience.

In the end we are all just a bunch of hilariously flawed men who enjoy talking shite and putting scalps on the wall. But it is who we are that matters. We have far more in common than we admit-mostly Southern men who appreciate masculine pursuits and the simple pleasures of our shared culture. I love all you guys in a decidedly non-gay way, even the worst among you, appreciate your POV, and savor the shite you throw on the wall. When you zing me, I only have respect. Call me a name, I'll still help you change a tire. I don't need or want you to agree with me. So keep it comin', because we are kind of awesome over here on Chicken's SEC RANT. Admit it, we are sexy AF.
