I had just showed my wife the thread for Mullenboys too. And yes tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, our life on earth is merely a vapor as the Bible says.
To quote the great prog rock band Kansas.....we're just Dust in the Wind.
I ask that all my Rant brethren have repented and trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Life is so very short and precious...please know in your hearts that being in heaven with Jesus is Your eternal destination when this life passes. Mullenboy just reminded us that life is so very fragile and that we need to have eternal assurance.
This is my prayer that if any of ya'll don't know the Lord, that Mullenboy's passing would spur you to search your soul.

Unfortunately, There are actually a bunch of us posters that are coming up on our end games. That’s the one thing true for everyone, each day we are one day closer to dying, and for many of us the day is sooner than we would like or expect. Every day is truly a gift and unfortunately most of us don’t learns life’s great lessons until we are too old to do much with them.
As Bernard Shaw once famously stated “Youth is wasted on the Young”
With that said I offer this old blessing from me,
I hope and pray that everyone here gets to enjoy at least one more great championship season for their respective school, or at least one that brings you great joy if that’s not possible before your time.

You're right Tut, if anyone thinks they aren't in the process of dying, just look in the mirror.....I'm 65 yrs old, in my mind I'm 20 but when I look in the mirror, I realize I'm a dying old man. We are dying from the day we're born....everyday our life is shorter.
It blows my mind how fast 65 years have flown by, it seems likecI just graduated high school a few years ago, yet it's been 48 yrs..
I too hope to see UK win an SEC CHAMPIONSHIP in modern football before I die but I know the odds are slim, but my life doesn't hinge on that, it's very temporal, I have a greater hope than anything in this life can offer.
