Cal is the issue. Not Kentucky.
They are the standard for the conference in basketball. You're just being a douche.
We're trending up the past 3 years but still haven't won. Our season looked a hell of a lot like theirs and are fortunate to be moving on.

Tennessee has always cared about basketball but we went through a series of bad coaches prior to Pearl. That said, the real problem isn't the rest of the conference imo. The problem is UK is divided between football and basketball. And don't think for a minute that just because they've been wildly successful at basketball that their football fans have no say.
Look at what happened this past off-season. Cal and Stoops in a pissing contest and what's worse Stoops feeling that making UK mediocre in football (with a few good seasons) is somehow remotely close to winning titles in basketball. And what's more UK didn't clamp anyone down in that fight - the AD let it go on when they should've shut all public discussion down. And if they had to choose, they should've taken the side of the successful program that's been paying the bills for eons.
That fight playing out that way only makes sense at a football school.

And my response was to point out that yes, I know you cry whenever the truth is mentioned which is what you did with your crying emote response to that post. I also mentioned in that post that you had the best team but not the class and yet you chose to cry and attempt to make it out that stating truth is crying.
