I have no idea…I assume Vandy is playing…any other SEC teams playing the NIT?

All I know is North Carolina and Texas Tech declined.

They even had a record to qualify for the NIT?

They played in arguably the best league this season and went 16-16.
13 league losses so it seems they basically took care of their OOC schedule.

Vanderbilt and Florida. Vandy was initially shown as a "3" seed and 17-15 Michigan a "2" seed. Its been confirmed that the NIT goofed and if Vanderbilt wins tonight they have a home game.
FWIW,reveal also said UAB was to play Wednesday, but they play tonight.

I think this is the corrected version:

Just looked at the bracket…how is Vandy a 2 seed and Rutgers a 1?
Hope Vandy wins it and Florida has a good showing!

Kinda bummed about UAB's tip. I was thinking about going tomorrow night but too much of a headache to drive back home and then go downtown again.

Rutgers was the second team left out of the NCAAT (behind Oklahoma State).

They beat Michigan State and Purdue, but had four Q3 losses. Their OOC schedule was mainly blowouts against low-majors.

Kentucky should be in the NIT if we are being honest.

Arizona state got in thanks to that halfcourt heave a couple weeks ago

No, they shouldn’t.

I'll never understand turning down extra practices.

Cal should be in the NIT
The team if coached by the assistants belongs in the NCAA.
Best we looked all year was with Cal in the stands. If we can get him tossed early each game we could go on a roll.

Florida v. UCF. Gee, what are the odds a certain user posts about that one?

Yeah, they should.
We'll get bounced by Providence most likely. This team has been way to bipolar this season. Face it, it's true.

Yeah, they should.
They were better than UNC and a host of others in the NIT this season even if they’re not at a level of play satisfactory for Kentucky as a program.

Still doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be in the NCAAT. Some of y’all are hilarious.

What does that matter?

Not really, you should have higher expectations for Kentucky.
If you accept mediocrity, you will get mediocrity.

Who’s accepting mediocrity? I know you’re not talking about me as I also think it’s time for Cal to move on.
I’m saying it’s stupid to think they should’ve been in the NIT when they played their way into the NCAAT. With a better resume than all of the teams in the NIT.
Some of y’all are hilarious in acting like this team being in the NCAAT but not up to expectations is something that’s mutually exclusive. Both can exist.
