Top 5 team in preseason
0 quality wins over teams not named Tennessee. Non conference, and conference quality teams blew us out at home and away.
home loss to South Carolina
road loss to Georgia
Terrible resume for Kentucky.

This is a flat out lie.

But still a good enough resume to be firmly in the NCAA Tournament. Which is the point being made here. If you want to argue it’s not acceptable for Kentucky, you’re not going to be much of an argument against that. That’s a totally different argument all together.

Tennessee wasn’t even the best team they beat on the schedule. If you don’t know who their top SEC win was, then should you even be having this argument?

Texas A&M.
I’d argue beating Arkansas in Bud Walton was a quality win as well. I think us, Alabama, and State were the only conference teams to beat them there this season.
ETA: We had 6 quad wins this season, even with the early loss in the SECT. But I know folks have issue with what is a Q1 win. About 20-ish teams had more Q1 wins, still putting Kentucky firmly in the NCAAT.

I thought the win in Knoxville would be considered the best considering Tennessee was ranked #5 at the time.

That’s a fair argument.
I was just countering his assertion that Tennessee was the only quality wins Kentucky had all season. Even though A&M was lower in the rankings earlier in the season, it ended up being a very good win. They’ve probably been the most consistent team outside of Alabama all season.
