Why did he have to go to McNeese and not a real school?

On a completely unrelated note to wherever this thread is going, that’s kind of a badass little arena.

As long as football and baseball are winning LSU basketball doesn’t matter

That’s an absolute fact no matter how many feelings it hurts

I remember LSU fans bitching about what a bad game day coach he was. Now, the revisionist historians would have you believe he was Bobby Knight, Dean Smith, John Wooden and Pete Carril all rolled into one.

In 1979, Vanderbilt AD (and future SEC commissioner) Roy Kramer needed to hire a new basketball coach. He called up his good friend Bobby Knight who recommended some guy at Army named Mike Kryzewski. For some reason, Kramer declined, and Coach K left for Duke a year later and the rest is history.

Chris Beard just got hired at Ole Miss 3 months after beating his wife. Wade got hired by McNeese State a full year after being let go by LSU. I’m guessing Wade has more skeletons in his closet than you’re letting on.

McNeese State is about to have the best FCS NIL that money can buy.
