Why didn’t this work for Bryce?

But our offense really wasn't anything spectacular outside of Brock Bowers. Yeah we had Darnell Washington but he didn't make a huge impact catching passes.

We had a good O-Line absolutely but they broke down several times and Stetson had to scramble and make great plays with his feet.

Why doesn't he get credit for the amazing 4th quarter comeback against OSU? Instead we just say "OSU blew that game". If that game was flipped we would be saying "Stroud led an incredible comeback that will be remembered for decades"

I think it's time we give the man his due.

Pretty solid take although I would posit that he also had a HUGE chip on his shoulder and sometimes that makes people work harder and compete more....but in reality there havn't been many QBs who started in the SEC in recent years, at least on teams with winning records, who didn't stand a good chance of being as successful as Bennett. It is impossible to quantify how much of the success is due to Bennet but he was the starting QB so at least some of the success was on him. The 4th quarter of the 2021 title game was all Bennett in my opinion...running on adrenaline and feeding off that chip. I could be wrong though....
