There will be rumors from Will Wade to Chris Beard to Pitino. It’s the only job available right now.

Ole Miss wants Wade bad and have already offered him (back channels), but some non Power 5's have also offered him (back channels)

Withcita state has offered him a job, ole miss seems more interested in Beard than wade, but sounds like neither will get the job. Which blows

Who know, he is getting 2nd round projections. At this point i think the whole team is viable to leave ( there arent many that are woryh keeing) Murrel is one of them. I could see him going to auburn, they did finish second in his recruitment

What a world if Ole Miss could land one of the 5-10 best coaches in the country and be making a run to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament in 2-3 years while LSU would be in year 3 of McMahon "celebrating" the slow progress of reaching the NIT.
Still, I don't think Beard settles for a place like Ole Miss if that is all that is available.

If I'm Wade I'm working hard to get the Georgetown job. It makes way too much sense for him. It's a place with a great basketball tradition. Basketball is the clear #1 sport on campus (It's easily #3 at Ole Miss). Most importantly, Wade has deep recruiting ties in the Beltway, Virginia, mid-Atlantic area.
It's also an easy sales-pitch for him. He could point out fellow Big East member Xavier made a similar hire this season in Sean Miller. Arizona fired Miller while under investigation. Xavier hired Miller even though there was no ruling on the Arizona case at the time. The immediate result? Xavier is currently ranked 16 and will be reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 6 years.

Not until IARP concludes their process - and decides whether Wade will receive a show cause. Timing on that is looking like mid June…..
