Nahh, don't do that man.

All a part of the discussion lol,

Hang around, these are great folks.

I just couldn't stand him as our coach. Actually liked Heath... Awaiting a thrashing!

Pelphrey is the only Arkansas coach I've ever wanted to drive to Fayetteville and assault. That guy made me want to destroy my television.

I was listening to a game on the radio and drove my car off a bridge.

He is basically Pittman for basketball, except 2 years ago with the Outback bowl, I believe Sam went further than Mike did.

That's a great comparison.

If bowl games meant what they used to I would agree that Sam went further, but in modern terms they're about on par right now. Sam did get to that level faster though

***UPDATE***

Apparently Mike is suing St Johns now because they tried to fire him for cause instead of paying his buyout to get Pitino.

What a shite show.

quote:

Former St. John's coach Mike Anderson told ESPN he plans to sue the school over his termination.

Anderson said the school fired him for cause and is denying him the remaining money left on his contract. He will seek payment through an arbitration lawsuit, per ESPN, which said he would have been owed $11 million if not fired for cause.

The network reviewed Anderson's termination letter, which said he was dismissed for "failure to create and support an environment that strongly encourages student-athletes who are in the men's basketball program to meet all university academic requirements," "failure to perform your duties and responsibilities in a manner that reflected positively on St. John's University ... in actions [that] brought serious discredit" to the school, and "failure to appropriately supervise and communicate with your assistant coaches."

Anderson was let go on March 10 after the Red Storm posted an 18-15 (7-13 Big East) record. Reports over the weekend said Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino, currently at Iona, has been offered the job.

SJ knows they won’t win but trying to settle for less than $11 million. Hopefully they have to pay that and more, what a slimy program.

Mike deserves better than this.

He could retire to NWA tomorrow and still be treated with a ton of gratitude.

They need to pay more for slandering him. He's just about the last coach I'd ever think would be fired for cause. I hope he nails their asses.
