Looks fair to me. Someone usually surprises. I'll go with Auburn again. They have a very favorable east schedule. They avoid Tenn & Vandy plus they get Mizzou. On the flip side, Arky might disappoint because they get Tenn, Vandy, U of SC, & UGA.

Can pretty much guarantee we will not finish last. I get the disrespect though we were awful last year with the big injuries to our pitching staff. We’ll bounce back

Real Talk: If Mississippi State finishes Dead Last in the SEC west with all of the talent we have and miss the SEC tourney and have a losing season this year Chris Lemonis needs to be fired on the spot.
With that said, I don't see any way possible State can have as shitty of a season as we had last year.

The SEC is stacked (like usual) and the west is just ridiculous right now. With the transfer portal, I'm not sure there has ever been a larger talent discrepancy than now. I feel like a 11/12 wins west team with a solid OOC resume should be making a regional this year.

Arkansas will be interesting because they replaced all starters except first baseman who will play second this year. Lost 25 players from last year returning only 13 total including 9 pitchers. On a positive note the new players, freshmen, jc, and portal are highly regarded. Also the coaches think this pitching staff is the best they have ever had. Interesting times.

We took in the #4 transfer class and signed #2 recruiting class
I highly doubt we finish last. Last year wouldn’t have finished last if Sims and other good pitchers didn’t get hurt
