They was all fired from coaching because they could not produce. Kiffin and Sark had the best talent in cfb at usc, but they was young and given a chance, they was considered toxic when they came to Bama

Pendry was fired from the Texans because of the shitty OL play and was considered washed up

Stalling did most of his career at Dallas as a DB coach under one of the best in Tom Landry and also under Bryant. Fired from a&m and the cardinals.

Point being they all was successful in the right environment and Rees should be given the same chance as them to prove himself.

I agree with what you are saying but the incorrect usage of was/were is killing me. I'm not one to be the grammar police but three times in one post sent me there.

He wouldn't be my choice but at his age, I'm willing to support him and give him a chance.

To be honest, not sure it matters that much since the OC will run whatever Saban wants anyway. For the most part, Saban has shown he can adjust on offense and put up points. More concerned about adjustments needed on defense when handling a competent dual threat QB and wide sets. Don't think what we run is as effective against that style offense.
