Details coming to light-
The battery was against his younger brother. It was disciplinary action that led to a verbal altercation with his current & pregnant girlfriend. The disagreement centered around the physical discipline of his younger brother, something that she hadn’t seen before. I don’t yet know to the extent the physical discipline occurred.
The girlfriend tried to leave the residence with his younger brother and RaRa refused to let them go. Shouting was overheard, and 911 was called, likely from someone outside of their apartment. RaRa had visible marks of being struck, likely by his girlfriend, but early buzz is that he didn't strike her. RaRa was arrested for false imprisonment and battery against his younger brother.

he has custody of his brother, couldn't she be arrested for kidnapping?

Your account differs a bit from what is in the official police report. There is no mention of him having marks but does say that she had bruising on the biceps and shins.

Yeah it sounds like she attempted kidnapping and he stopped her and got arrested.

The reports don’t really fit your younger brother/pregnant girlfriend story.
This says the girl has injuries and the false imprisonment charge stemmed from him standing in front of her dorm room door and refusing to let her leave.
