Freshman starter at a 5A school playing deep in the playoffs that is 6'3" and runs a 4.5 40 at 14 years old. I would think he's a legit prospect.
Very athletic kid. Obviously raw on holding the edge but great in pass rush. That's another reason why you hold on to an Amon Lane-Ganus. Coach Ganus has that program and everything surrounding it setup to be successful from nutrition and workouts. To having a full time speed, strenght and agility coach in house. Plus they have a really good staff. Chad Slade and Andre Smith are the offensive line coaches. Plus multiple players from UAB that coaches on the staff.

They will probably get their asses kicked this week against Ramsey but if the Moody QB starts hot watch out. He's young as well and has a cannon for an arm.

Guess I should update Amon's status. He should be back starting this week. He came back last week and played about half snaps on defense. He is also scheduled to play in the Alabama North-South all star game in December and is an UA all american

Yes. Head baseball coach for over 20 years... Offensive coordinator in football for about 15 years, running backs coach prior to OC
I stopped coaching football 5 years ago and hung up the turf shoes and turned the reigns of the program over to one of my great assistants in May of this year. I'm just a drivers ed and health teacher now. lol

Starting to leak out to other message boards williams has gotten an absolute bag from Auburn and will be flipping to us in Feb.

Is an eternity from now. That news leaking now only makes it less likely to actually happen. I’d feel much better about it if he was signing in December.

Probably has to do with him not having all senior classes yet. He probably won't officially be a Senior until the end of the semester if I were to guess. Either way he most likely won't be available until fall practice because he mostly will need a couple summer courses to complete all credits.
That's me speculating because we can't have his academic information out.

I don't count them until they are officially in the boat and basically shutting it down ready to sign. So we will see how it goes. We have been down this road before

FWIW, I think he said he would sign in Feb so he can take all of his officials in January. As a junior he can’t take official visits.
As you mentioned, though, probably not the only reason why he’ll sign in February.
