Fact of the matter is we have 3 SEC Championship game appearances in the last 15+ years. That's not consistent at all.

Incredible job by the staff to have only been after this class for 8 months now. We have a fricking 5 star WR commit from Foley that was a flip from Bama.
Like I said OL and DL are much different relationships. I’d love to have Franklin but he isn’t and wasn’t a must get for this class. Next year you better get some studs on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Plus regardless of who we picked up this cycle we were going to have to get 2-3 OL and 2-3 DL from the portal
That was great but fact of the matter is we need more than 3-4 top 100 players a class if we want to compete in the SEC. We've heard all of this talk about the AU boosters being able to open up the checkbook now that they are finally able to with NIL, plus they've got an awesome proven recruiter in Hugh Freeze, and yet here we are.

Here we are at top 15, headed to top ten? Losing a commit to Lane hurts man, I won't pretend that it doesn't, but I'd be shocked if this class isn't top 8 by December. I do think that we need more HIGHSCHOOL offensive lineman though. I also acknowledge that like any class we've flat out lost a few. My guess is Ole Piss payed crazy close to million Cash and we decided to move on.

NIL is going to make recruiting interesting. We probably weren’t able to back the money truck up to KF because of having Perry and Riddick “on the payroll” but he was by far the biggest fish on OM’s radar so they are going to be far more likely to overspend. It will get even more interesting if there ends up being regulations regarding NIL.

Most of us are the beaten and battered posters of the Auburn internet space. We somehow landed on a LSU site to talk our shite and as communities elsewhere collapsed they wound up here as their respite

I posted this time last year that Harsin was a destined failure and would be fired.
From August 2022:
“Disagree completely. We’re ranked 68th in recruiting at the moment. We didn’t land any big transfers. We lost our starting QB and best WR in the portal.
The hit recruiting has taken is going to make it hard for him to survive when we’re sitting at seasons end with a blowout loss to Alabama and another likely 5 or 6 loss season.”
