Bolden is hard to get a read on but Georgia fans seem optimistic.

I think there’s a realistic chance, albeit small, things swing our way this weekend if he gets around those other big time recruits and multiple guys commit leading to a domino effect where he wants to be apart of an elite recruiting class that turns the program around. (i.e. bama’s 2008 recruiting class)

Not guaranteeing anything, but don't be shocked if Bolden is the 5th commit after this weekend.

I get we are excited so unless I’ve just totally missed something what has the KJ optimism roaring? I’d love to land the kid.

So where has anything been seen, or heard, or what that I have missed to thing we land him.

From what I have seen and I haven’t paid much attention to his recruiting seems UGA leads over Ohio State. Both have bags for him. I know he’s a huge upper level elite recruit but can you get 2 really really good 4 stars for less in a bag? That stuff will come into play big time going forward

His interest is under the radar much like Riddick's was 30 or so days ago. However, not near as confident as I was on Riddick.

He’s not committing until August 5th.

Me either. As of now I think he goes to UGA.

JLee just put in the flip pick on Perry with pretty high confidence (relatively)

Bolden will end up at UGA, I believe honestly. Even if we could grab his commit now, I think he would flip. But is just being in the discussion shows CHFs recruiting chops. Still think we get Zayquan which isn’t a bad backup option

From the Alabama board regarding Thompson potentially flipping.

This will be glorious if this plays out right.

Bama fans will lose their minds.

Regardless if he flips this weekend or not Perry, like Demarcus, aren’t shutting down their recruitment. It’s a season long thing regardless. I expect us to have a really good year and I don’t think Auburn will. We will be in good position come December and close like we always do. Don’t let Auburn people get in our heads it’s July

We’ll have to fight for both until they sign, IMO. I do agree there. That’s what every school does when they have these caliber commitments.

Bama Online is downright depressed over their bbq weekend at this point. Andrew Bone has already said that he would feel good if he’s Auburn and Perry does in fact go to Auburn over Tuscaloosa this weekend.

These kids...........

"don't care about winning. They just want to have a good time"

"don't care about winning. They are just going after the money"

"don't care about winning. We didn't want him anyway"

"don't care about winning. We never offered"

"don't care about winning. He didn't want to compete"

I'm not disagreeing with that at all. Especially in the age of the NIL it becomes even more so. What's interesting to me is they think it can't happen in reverse, but Saban realizes it and why he calls for NIL reform all the time.
