What's with all the "great game" posts?

"you guys played great" etc etc..
Perhaps it's some kind of arrogant thinking that if LSU hung with Alabama they must have played great.
Unfortunately, we're not stupid, though. LSU did not play great. In fact, without attacking anyone personally, that was one of the worst games I can remember an LSU qb having.
I guess you guys are trying to be nice, so I shouldn't be to harsh about this.

yeah, neither team played well. if bama plays like that against florida, they will be destroyed. but i'm pulling for bama.

Alabama did not win this game and Saban knows it. Jarrett Lee gave it to them for Christmas.

Both teams may not have played their "A" games, but you can not deny that that was a great game. With all the emotion, hoopla, history, and everything at stake, I would say that is the game of the year in the SEC so far. Neither team quit and there was some damn good hitting going on.

It's just class and sportsmanship. We could play the worthless "what if" game but we aren't UGA. It was a hard fought game and we got beat. It could have gone either way.

I, for one, enjoyed the hell out of this game. Sure, we lost, but hell...I was happy with the way our defense showed up; it wasn't perfect, but it was better than it has been.
It was a good game. Maybe neither team played "their best," whatever the frick that is, but it was a hard fighting game.

It was a hard fought game. I'll have to see if there's a way I can revoke that curse I put on Penn Wagers, and maybe find where all my pets have ran off to.

Funny you bring up Penn Wagers. Just last year the guy was a goat, hated by just about all SEC fans, no matter who your team was. This season I see him reffing just about every big SEC game and he and his crew have improved a lot.
