Well, the narrative on the Rant has been that:

1. We could not win with Bennett as our QB
2. He would not get drafted.
3. The only reason we win is because Bennett is surrounded by 4* and 5* talent.

So maybe I misunderstood you. What did you mean when you said the "NFL would underestimate him..."?

I do agree that he will go somewhere in the 5-7 round range. But who would consider that underestimating him? He is fully aware of what people think of him.

I definitely agree with this. I just don't understand how the NFL underestimating him comes in.

I can't think of a single person (right off hand) that thinks he will go at the top of the draft.

Right, except Bennett has openly spoken about fans telling him to go after 2021. As well as your coach quoting this in articles and fans on here as well as elsewhere have said the same thing.
