Voted behind Bama and Ohio.
Being behind Bama in the same conference means we don't control our own destiny.

"They only won 2021 because of the generational defense, over half of them are now in the NFL. UGA will definitely take a step back. Stetson will have to be more than just a game manager, especially with the loss of Zamir White and James Cook, the #1 and #2 running backs. And we know a repeat has never been accomplished in the playoff era"

I looked at that 2023 schedule. If Georgia don't run the table ( yes I know Mizzou's on there ) it must be considered a failure.

I don't know about the "6-7" talk, but going into this season there were serious questions about a repeat due to how much talent was lost due to the draft. We were also bringing back Bennett, who while he looked good in the playoffs overall last season, many thought was nothing more than a glorified game manager and that we would need something more to make up for our losses on defense.
We stomped Oregon and many called it a fluke, and that Oregon was just overrated.
We began the year ranked 3rd, not 1. After kicking tail for half the season, the playoff committee started us out at 3, not 1. We had to take TN to the woodshed to get that 1 back again.
Whatever Vegas said, we still had a lot of naysayers betting against us.

UGA should just advance to the SEC Championship next year with that cupcake schedule.
