How do you feel about the RB rotation for next season? Losing Gibbs stinks but it was expected. I actually feel very good about the rotation with Jase McClellan returning. Jamarion Miller is the guy that I hope gets first team reps. I know that his highlights came in mop up duty but he looks awesome.

Gibbs even alluded to him being ready

I think we will see the two freshmen early and often.

Not until they prove they can pass block. That is what gets you on the field beyond mopup duties early, no matter the skill.

I think we are very much loaded at RB. Will be hard to decide the two deep because all of these guys are assets.

I definitely believe that Miller will push for first team reps but any of the guys are capable of getting it done. It will be good to see McClellan and Williams after another off season since they had knee injuries in 2021. They should both be back to full strength in 2023. It usually takes over a full calendar year to recover from an ACL. I also want to see how Emmanuel Henderson is used. I know that he was moved to wide receiver but he is capable of playing running back if needed.

Mcellan/Williams/miller.

Freshmen likely redshirt.

I'm excited to see how all of the freshmen skill position players progress between now and the 2023 season. Miller, Bond, Law, Prentice, Niblack, Henderson. Hopefully Shazz Preston will show out and get a role.

Don’t count out at least one of the talented Frosh! Both are highly touted and could contribute very quickly

I think Jase is going to get a more bell cow like workload. He’s really improved, I think he’s ready to have a huge season. 200+ carries.

Roydell and Miller will still get work. I think Haynes will get significant work in mop up duty like Miller did this year.

I think Williams is a guy that could deal some damage. Love his running style.

Williams and Miller are very similar players. IMO Miller has a little bit more juice. But I want to see how Roydell looks after another off season in the S&C program.

I love our running back group next year.
Based on recent history: (barring injuries)
McClellan 200+ Carries
Williams 75-100 Carries
Miller 75-100 Carries
QBs and others 75-100 Carries

I personally would love to see which back had the hot hand on a given game and go with him.

Miller looks like the real deal to me. I can't wait to see him get carries.

RB is the least of my concerns for Alabama 2023. They’re loaded.
