shoulder to shoulder. the main issue is that stroud threw up a punt type pass and let his dude get laid out. kinda like when bryce young threw a poor pass and got williams acl torn.

I could care less if UGA ever wins another game and hope like hell they never win another one against LSU.

Everything about that hit is what makes football great. It was a great recovery, the player led with his shoulder, he saw what he hit, it was violent, it was intimidating, it was clean, and it wouldve been a crime against the fabric of the game if it had been ruled illegal.

Congrats on a great comeback win, good luck with TCU, and go frick yourself going into 2023.

Clean. Easily. Just like the Bowers first down was correct. This coming from somebody who actively wishes both teams could have found a way to lose that game

Clean hit. I actually just saw the Ohio State presser where they were pissed. They said, it’s targeting bc he was concussed

I think coaches teach players to hit certain ways. I think too many tell players to do the wrong things to tell when it's an accident. It's like telling if a player is really hurt or stopping the clock.

Does anyone understand this rule? It seems like even the “rules experts” miss them all the time.

I can explain what Saban and Kirby’s Rip-Liz-Match defensive audibles are, but not a penalty that gets called every game. Seems like a flawed rule to me.

It wasn’t targeting. I could explain why with the rules but I won’t. It simply wasn’t. It was a good football play.

Not targeting at all. Football. It’s a rough sport.

Watched the replay. Looked legal to me. Not surprised a flag was thrown - any violent hits gets a flag now and they kick it to the booth. Shoulder to shoulder contact, did not lead to the head.

Kid can thank his QB for hanging him out to dry. Good effort by both the DB and WR.

Absolutely not. Defender lead with his shoulder, turned his head away to ensure he lead with his shoulder, hit the receiver in the shoulder, and times the hit just as the ball got there and. It before or after.

Great hit. If that was targeting, the last play of the Michigan TCU game had to be targeting

I don't know how objective I am, but didn't feel like that was targeting.

I did not think it was targeting.

It was a tough lick, but he did not lead with the helmet crown, Guy was not defenseless, etc
