No problem with him opting out but Sark should’ve told him good luck and we will see you later. Having him go through bowl week and be on the sidelines is a slap in the face to the other players.

Don't have a problem with Bjian. But Roschon Johnson... is this dude really gonna get drafted high enough for that to be relevant? Would have had a much better shot at winning with him.

I'm not going to insult the man, but I don't care for sitting out of bowl games. You were no more likely to get injured in the first game of the season than the last. If all these guys are worried about is staying healthy for the NFL, they might as well pull a COVID opt-out and sit out for the season.

Lot of people ITT are full of shite if they say they wouldn't sit out a bowl game and risk millions. Jamarr Chase sat out a whole season and still went top 5 and LSU fans still claim him to this day but a kid sitting out a bowl game is a pussy

Meh, it’s the Alamo bowl. If I were his mother and father, I’d encourage him to do the exact same thing after seeing what happened to Matt Corral last year.
But yes, it was really awkward for him to still be on the sideline as a cheerleader when he’s not suiting up

I certainly have a new found respect for Will Anderson and Bryce Young. Not sure how Saban gets those guys to play but it works.
