Using NET this early is dumb.
You and I both know GT and ND will end up being at least Quad 2
Wake will be Quad 1, maybe UAB as well
St. Joes will be Quad 2 or 3

I have no idea what any of that means. But if it says UGA's schedule sucks... that's really not the point. UGA is worse at basketball than Vandy is at football. I don't really care if they played the sisters of the poor... 10-3 is incredibly surprising.

You really think GT finishes 140? ND at 168? St Joes at 260?

It all makes sense now

At the end of the year, winning games against tougher opponents (Q1) vs lesser opponents (Q4) can help get teams into the tournament and seeded well.
If you want to boil it down to a simple metric, look at the NET SOS at the top — Georgia's schedule is currently ranked 325th. By comparison, Alabama's is 5th.

These threads are stupid. Especially when Georgia hasn’t played a game yet. Dumbass

Clearly. If LSU continues to win 92% of our games, it will be a decent season. If we dip down to 90%, I’ll be concerned.

Torvik Ranks
111. Georgia Tech (moves from Q3 to Q2)
130. Notre Dame (stays Q3)
215. St Joes (stays Q3)
Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and St Joe's are a combined 2-14 vs high majors

Everything is a little off until Conference play gets going.

I don’t think we’re very good either. But I don’t think using NET in December is the best way of proving it.

NET is flawed whenever it is used. Certainly it is much less reliable a metric in December v March. Regardless, in the context of explaining Georgia’s 10 wins to date, anything that references who they have played is a sufficient metric for the explanation.
