Curious if it's becoming treacherous out there.

Yeah, I have one appointment for late afternoon. It's not important so I think I'm going to say screw it, and just sit by the fire.

100%, the fire is nice this morning

I'm about to go chance it though, maybe the traffic and lines won't be atrocious like they have been for weeks

I've been driving around in it. Pretty slick in some places. I49 is mostly clear though. Lot of nasty slick patches that don't look slick on other roads though. Looks dry and powdery but saw a couple cars in the ditch up around the MO border and I lost traction a few times.

I'm glad to be back home and out of the 8 degree weather.

Just put up a tarp around our chicken coop, bought a electric water heater for their water.

My lips are blue, toes frozen together, but the chicks are nice and toasty!

That’s a sign of something worse than being cold

I've never in my life been as cold as I was taking my dog out just now

I just did with just a few clothes on. My dog was running around the house ready to go. She did her business both number one and number two in the same spot. She quickly ran to the door. That never happened before.

I have never been this cold in my life and earlier today my fingers were hurting from changing the bird feeders.

No way it can be worse than what it was a few years back in February. That was the worst weather I’ve ever experienced

Same. Opened the door and she is usually running right out after she eats. She looked outside and turned back around.

Yeah

Blue lips is a serious sign of poor oxygen circulation

I’m concerned
