This news is just beyond terrible. Leach has always has been one of my favorite characters in college football. Damn fine coach, innovative mind, speaks his mind in today's offended BS culture. Just a sad damn day.

If you don't think he is a big chunk of what makes college football great, then you don't know your arse from your elbow.

All of this makes me sad.

Leach has taught us all not to take ourselves too seriously. His unfiltered style - talking straight from his heart without fear of reprisal - is a virtue we should all develop. You can do that with a pure heart and a good moral compass.

I couldn't say it any better. His teams were always entertaining to watch. When 99% of all other coaches give nothing but cliche interviews, Leach always spoke his mind and didn't take himself too seriously. I like people that are easily relatable and are colorful. I hope he pulls through.
