That's a valid definition-based usage of the word "disturbing", but it is not a proper connotation-based usage. "Disturbing" is meant to connote ideas of foul play or self-harm in such context. If that's not the intention here, then it's rather clickbaitish to use it.

Why do ppl want to know the disturbing details? Probably disturbing finding someone in duress or a bad situation not thinking it could happen unexpectedly like

Steve is doing the old, "I know something that you don't know but I'm not going to tell you. Now you know that I know." I never understand that type of post or personality type. Just keep your mouth shut or just say something simple like, "We won't know anything more tonight."

I wanted to post something, anything, but I just can’t think of anything to say other than Leach is one of my favorite coaches. I think everybody likes him to some degree. He’s a breath of fresh air compared to most.
