Get this: UCF only has an endowment of $165 million.

Be even funny if UCF beats Texas next year.

Who is the Big 12 going to hate once we leave? That's going to be one boring arse conference schedule.

It’s been said a thousand times but you morons can’t read it or comprehend it.It does not matter if OU and Texas leave they still won’t be able to get any tv right till the contract is up . Both OU and Texas have the money to pay what they owe. The big 12 doesn’t want to negotiate because each school would still lose money immediately when we leave . Don’t worry the second we leave is the second 90 percent of your schools get bumped down a tier in all sports !

Yeah but you’re in a conference with UCF now. UCF is your peer now. Lol.

What if UCF wins the conference while Texas and OU are there? That would be epic! They would never live it down.

So you are claiming both schools have the money to buy out of their contracts but are not going to because the conference will not negotiate down to an affordable price, y’all are staying….
I what to make sure that’s your position on this. Because if that is your stance how do you justify it?

Justify by getting OU and Texas to be smoked on their way out of the Big 12 conference.

Again for the slow ones from 10 R C
Even if we paid all the exit fees the media rights are owned by Fox until 2025 SEC is not going to bring in two teams that than can’t broadcast their games
Unless Fox wants to “sell” the media rights
It’s 100% about media rights not exit fees

Say it as much as you have to, but they don't want to hear it, logic has not place here.

Unless Fox enjoys lighting money on fire, they would sell the rights, or make a deal with the SEC to broadcast those games until the contract expires. UT and OU will have to force their hand, but if I'm Fox, I'm trying to make a temporary deal with the SEC to because there will be huge national interest in those games.

And you still can’t field a decent team? Doing less with more should be Texas’ new state slogan.
