Ohio State will still be standing tall long after the Saban era is over.

This is a good point

Before Saban, Alabama was irrelevant for 2 decades

Ohio state has had Tressel, Urban, and now Day winning at a high level with the first two getting a natty and Day having the chance at one early in his HC career

Georgia and Tennessee fans have so much in common. A year or two of success and they think they have been THERE forever. How many long years did the West have to carry the SEC? Almost forever? It is about time the East carried some of the weight.

Hmmm, I know, I’ll dickride the team my team is about to play in order to troll the team that is in the sugar bowl, and has no impact on my team currently.

What an absolute cuckold.

And yet Bama won a Nattie in that time frame and never went mre than 3 seasons without a 10 win season (when there were only 11 regular season games).

So while being "irrelevant" how many Natties did UGA win in that time frame?

bullshite. Bama was irrelevant for about ONE decade before Saban arrived. Gene Stallings won an NC in 1992 and was on the cusp of winning several other SEC titles before he left after the 1996 season. Spurrier was his kryptonite though. If by irrelevant you mean not winning NCs then Georgia was irrelevant for FOUR decades before getting over the hump last year.

Before Saban, Bama was in the conversation for most prestigious program of all time along with about 6 or 8 others. Since Saban did what he has the last 15 years, Bama is inarguably the preeminent program in CFB history.

Before Saban, UGA was irrelevant for almost 3 decades. So what your point.

That is all true. Ohio State never takes time off. We are always in the conversation and always will. I feel Alabama is already slipping on the end side of its run.

Its Bama.....Ohio State is in a weak conference and propped up at every turn. Bama has had to earn in in a tough conference and without the help of anyone. Bama has also had the 2 greatest coaches to coach the game, Bear and Saban. AND have more NC than anyone.
